How Much Can You Contribute?

Contribution opportunities are based on your medical plan coverage level per the chart below. The combined contributions from ALL sources (including Oracle’s contribution 2024) cannot exceed the stated limits. If you and your spouse are both age 55 or above you can both contribute an additional $1,000. However, your spouse must have his/her own health savings account (HSA) to contribute the additional $1,000. As an Oracle employee, you can contribute $1,000 of catch up contributions to your account - not $2,000.

Invest your Health Savings Account (HSA)

Your HSA contributions are held in your own individual interest bearing account at Optum Bank. Once your balance reaches $2,000, you have an opportunity to grow your money further by investing a portion of your savings in Optum Bank’s mutual fund offerings.

Oracle pays the monthly account maintenance fee on behalf of active Oracle employees currently enrolled, or previously enrolled in the HSA Medical Plan. Oracle does not cover this fee for Terminated employees or COBRA continuants.
Other bank fees are your responsibility and are subject to change.
